About Us

We are a group of diverse girls- all interested in various fields, from medicine, to law, to history- but we bonded over a shared passion: period advocacy. As current high school seniors that grew up in schools that were often devoid of any period products for girls who needed them and in environments that often deemed the menstrual cycle as a topic that was both shameful and gravely taboo- we wanted to stand for something that collectively hit a hammer in our hearts. Sarah Jimenez and Kelsie Victor, both California ALA Girls State Alumni, have both felt a calling for advocacy- especially in the female health realm.  Together with Annelie Tang, co-editor in chief of her high school newspaper, they have collectively kindled an idea that they hope will erase generational stigma and foment a world where no girl is declined what is a basic human right. Join an initiative that is committed to providing basic human rights, educating on eliminating period stigma from the female equation, and reforming our world to better fit a picture of period equity.
